Beet sugar comes from the root of beet. The crystal sugar is separated from beet root through crushing, extraction, bleaching, crystallization, centrifugation, drying and other processes. Its main component is sucrose, and its appearance is generally sandy white crystal. It is widely used in various foods to increase sweetness and improve material properties.
Beet root extract is also known as brown sugar without purified beet sugar. Common sugar is extracted from bamboo sugar (cane sugar), while brown sugar is a brown sugar extracted from beet. Beet molasses contain 50-60% of sugar, and the content of sugar in the root is 10-20%. The middle of the root contains the highest sugar, and the closer to the two ends, the lower the sugar content.
